A lucky bingo player has won the National Bingo Game jackpot on the very first night of joining a local bingo hall. They lucky lady, a cleaner aged 37 from Inverkeithing, Fife, joined her local Carlton Bingo Hall after her sister pursauded her to join the club on a one-off.

She had been playing every so often at a different bingo hall nearby, until this stroke of luck at her lucky new club! She scooped over £27,000 when her numbers came in, claiming a number of prizes. She won the National Games Jackpot prizes which totalled £25,600 on the night, by calling bingo at 44 numbers. On top of that she claimed the £2,167 regional prize, and the local Calton Bingo Hall house prizes of £90.

The big winner is a mother and seven children and grandmother to ten, so the woman and her partner were even more happy with the win. She said of her man’s reaction: “He didn’t think it was true when I told him, he thought I must have just won the house prize. It still hasn’t really sunk in yet so I don’t know what I’ll do with the money.”

The win comes after a huge £410,000 win last week from a man who changed from his local Gala Bingo club to one nearer after being delayed on a shopping trip. Have we found the new way to win big?!
